About Me

My name is Kimiko and I am a college student in the city of Chicago. I have still yet to learn what I want to do with my life, but I've aspired to express myself through creativity. I've always enjoyed working with crafts and I'm inspired by the many ideas of others that I find. The point of this blog is to share to other people my own inspirations and DIY projects that I have created. Many of my projects are inspired from other people, but developed in my own way. I would love to inspire others to create new ideas and hopefully, one day, start a business. I really do hope you enjoy my blog!

Read below for a list of things that you might not know about me.

1. My name, Kimiko, is japanese. The characters of my name have a different meaning: KI (energy), MI (beauty), and KO (youth).
2. I have a mixed ethnicity of Japanese, Irish, and other european descent. 
3. One day I hope to travel the world and visit each state in the U.S.
4. My high school dance team was hip hop state champions 
5. I love antiques and vintage. Basically, I was born into the wrong era. 
6. Currently, I'm majoring in Biology and I'd like to be a doctor.
7. But my family believes I can succeed in a different career that I can use creativity. So I'm still unsure what I want to do. 
8. I'm a technology geek. It scares me how people don't know how to use technology. 
9. I'm also a fast learner. If I find something that I want to learn, I'll easily teach myself how to do it. 
10. I love my dog (sometimes more than humans, jk).
